GET INVOLVED


FVRO is currently seeking volunteers for a variety of exciting projects.

  • Investigators are needed to conduct covert examinations of scam call centers. Volunteer investigators call criminals and pretend to be potential victims in order to obtain IP addresses, phone numbers, and means and methods of payment.
  • Engineers are needed to set up and train investigators on use of virtual machines, Wireshark, and other cyber investigation tools. Additional special projects include helping to develop a VoIP honeypot and building web crawlers to document tech support fraud pop-up ads.
  • Attorneys are needed to analyze cases and specific case law. Future projects include John Doe lawsuits and helping victims with writs of mandamus.
  • Web developers and social media experts are needed to drive public engagement with FVRO’s projects and goals.
  • Federal Agents and State and Federal prosecutors are needed to vet, research, and provide feedback on specific policy proposals.
  • Passionate and dedicated activists are needed to be District Captains in each of all 435 Congressional Districts to organize community support for FVRO’s goals.
